Prepare the Noodles

Prepare the Beef Stroganoff

Sauté the Onions and Mushrooms
In a large skillet, heat 2 tbs of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for an additional 5 minutes until they are browned and tender.

Cook the Beef
Increase the heat to medium-high and add the beef strips to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook the beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides.

Make the Sauce
Sprinkle 2 tbs of flour over the beef and vegetables, stirring well to coat. Gradually add the beef broth while stirring continuously to prevent lumps. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it thicken for about 2-3 minutes.

Finish with Sour Cream
Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and sour cream until well combined and heated through. Do not let it boil.
Serve

Combine and Serve
On a plate, serve a portion of the egg noodles topped with the beef stroganoff sauce. Garnish with additional black pepper if desired.
