Crab Cakes
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Crab Mixture
In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chopped green onions, beaten egg, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.
- 2
Form the Cakes
Using your hands, form the mixture into patties about 2-3 inches in diameter. Place the patties on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up.
- 3
Cook the Crab Cakes
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the crab cakes to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve
Remove the crab cakes from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite tangy sauce.
