Brownie Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
- 2
Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 3
Combine Sugars
Stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar into the melted butter until well combined.
- 4
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 5
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- 6
Combine Mixtures
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- 7
Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- 8
Bake the Brownies
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 9
Cool and Cut
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares.
