Cheesecake Ingredients

Method

Cheesecake Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the crust

Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). In a mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.

  2. 2

    Mix the cheesecake filling

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy. Add sour cream and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Finally, fold in the dulce de leche until evenly distributed.

  3. 3

    Bake the cheesecake

Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust. Bake for about 55-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour.

  4. 4

    Cool and chill

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

  5. 5

    Serve

Before serving, drizzle additional dulce de leche on top of the cheesecake and slice to serve.
