Prepare the Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine equal parts of fresh blackberries and sugar. Cook over medium heat until the blackberries break down and the mixture becomes syrupy, about 5-7 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove solids and let cool.
- 2
Brew the Tea
Brew your favorite tea bags in boiling water according to package instructions. Let it cool completely and then refrigerate until chilled.
- 3
Mix the Drink
In a tall glass, fill with ice cubes. Pour in the Tincup Whiskey, blackberry simple syrup, and chilled iced tea. Stir gently to combine.
- 4
Garnish and Serve
Add a squeeze of lemon on top and garnish with fresh blackberries. Serve immediately.
