Crab Cakes
Spicy Remoulade Sauce
Method
Crab Cakes
- 1
Mix Crab Cake Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the fresh lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, egg, chopped green onions, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper.
- 2
Fold Ingredients
Gently fold the mixture together until just combined. Be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- 3
Chill Mixture
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the mixture to firm up.
- 4
Form Crab Cakes
After chilling, shape the mixture into patties, about 1 inch thick.
- 5
Cook Crab Cakes
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the crab cakes to the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Cook each side for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
