Pasta Preparation

Boil Water
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook Pasta
Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.

Drain Pasta
Drain the pasta and set it aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
Chicken Preparation

Season Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Heat Skillet
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Cook Chicken
Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.

Slice Chicken
Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.

Sauté Garlic
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.

Make Sauce
Whisk in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until the sauce is smooth and thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
Combine Ingredients

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

Serve the pasta on plates, topped with sliced grilled chicken and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
