Cajun Chicken Breast
For Serving
Method
Preparation of Chicken
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Coat the chicken breasts with the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken breasts to the grill or skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through.
Assembly and Serving
- 3
Prepare the Buns
While the chicken is cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- 4
Assemble the Sandwich
Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Add a cooked Cajun chicken breast on top of the lettuce. Top with sliced tomatoes and cover with the top half of the bun.
- 5
Serve
Serve the Cajun chicken sandwiches warm alongside a generous serving of French fries.
