Method

Prepare the Wings

  1. 1

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss until wings are evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.

  3. 3

    Arrange the Wings

Place the seasoned wings in a single layer on the wire rack. This will allow the heat to circulate around the wings for even cooking.

Bake the Wings

  1. 4

    Bake

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Prepare the Buffalo Sauce

  1. 5

    Melt Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 6

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

Once melted, remove from heat and whisk in the hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.

Toss the Wings

  1. 7

    Toss Wings in Sauce

In a large bowl, toss the baked wings with the buffalo sauce until they are fully coated.

Prepare the Blue Cheese Dressing

  1. 8

    Combine Dressing Ingredients

In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, blue cheese crumbles, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 9

    Chill

Refrigerate the blue cheese dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve

  1. 10

    Plate and Serve

Serve the buffalo wings hot with a side of blue cheese dressing for dipping.
