Toppings
Method
Prepare the Pork Tenderloin
- 1
Trim and Season
Trim any excess fat from the pork tenderloin. Season it with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, ensuring it's evenly coated.
- 2
Bread and Fry the Tenderloin
- 3
Bread the Pork
Dredge the seasoned pork tenderloin in flour, shaking off any excess, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. You can check if the oil is ready by dropping a small piece of breadcrumb into the oil; it should sizzle.
- 5
Fry the Tenderloin
Carefully place the breaded pork tenderloin in the hot oil. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F).
- 6
Drain
Once cooked, transfer the pork tenderloin to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Prepare the Toppings
- 7
Chop the Vegetables
While the pork is frying, wash and chop the lettuce, slice the tomato, pickle, and onion into thin rings.
Assemble the Dish
- 8
Serve
Slice the fried pork tenderloin into thick pieces and serve on a plate with the prepared lettuce, tomato, pickle slices, and onion. Enjoy your delicious pork tenderloin!
