Pork Rinds
Sweet Bacon Aioli
Method
Pork Rinds
- 1
Prepare the Pork Skin
Cut the pork skin into small strips or desired shapes. Make sure to remove any excess fat.
- 2
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or a heavy-bottomed pot, pour in the vegetable oil and heat it over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 3
Fry the Pork Skin
Carefully add the pork skin pieces into the hot oil in batches. Fry until they puff up and turn golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per batch.
- 4
Drain and Season
Once fried, use a slotted spoon to remove the pork rinds from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. While still hot, sprinkle with Frank's Red Hot Seasoning to taste.
