Pork Rinds

Sweet Bacon Aioli

Method

Pork Rinds

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Skin

Cut the pork skin into small strips or desired shapes. Make sure to remove any excess fat.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan or a heavy-bottomed pot, pour in the vegetable oil and heat it over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  3. 3

    Fry the Pork Skin

Carefully add the pork skin pieces into the hot oil in batches. Fry until they puff up and turn golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per batch.

  4. 4

    Drain and Season

Once fried, use a slotted spoon to remove the pork rinds from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. While still hot, sprinkle with Frank's Red Hot Seasoning to taste.

Sweet Bacon Aioli

  1. 5

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess fat. Once cooled, crumble into small pieces.

  2. 6

    Combine Aioli Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, honey, minced garlic (finely chopped), lemon juice, and salt. Mix well until smooth.

  3. 7

    Add Bacon

Fold in the crumbled bacon into the aioli mixture until evenly distributed.
