- 1
Prep the Cheese
Cut the Muenster cheese into four equal sticks, approximately 1 inch wide.
- 2
- 3
Bread the Cheese Sticks
Coat each cheese stick in flour, then dip in the egg wash, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure they are evenly coated.
- 4
Chill
Place the breaded cheese sticks on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help the breading stick.
Frying
- 5
Heat Oil
In a large frying pan or deep fryer, heat oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 6
Fry Cheese Sticks
Carefully add the breaded cheese sticks to the hot oil in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- 7
Drain and Serve
Remove the fried cheese sticks and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your choice of Haus curry sauce or marinara.
Sauce Preparation
- 8
Mix Sauce Ingredients
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, curry powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth.
- 9
Chill Sauce
Refrigerate the sauce for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
