Add the tomato paste, curry powder, paprika, honey (or sugar), and apple cider vinegar to the saucepan. Stir well to combine and cook for about 2 minutes.

Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring the mixture to a simmer. Season with salt and black pepper. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
