Method
Chicken Tenders
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Set aside.
- 2
Make the Bier Batter
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and paprika together. Gradually whisk in the beer until the batter is smooth and well combined.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Chicken
Dip each chicken tender into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, then carefully place it into the hot oil. Fry in batches, cooking for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Curry Sauce
- 5
Combine Sauce Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, curry powder, honey, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and well-blended. Season with salt to taste.
Fries
- 6
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.
- 7
Fry the Fries
In another pot or deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the potato strips in batches and fry for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.
