Cook the Brats
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bratwurst links until browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Remove from heat, chop into bite-sized pieces, and set aside.

Make the Bier Cheese Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until slightly golden. Gradually whisk in the beer until smooth. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and cream cheese, mixing until melted and smooth. Add garlic powder, mustard powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Keep warm on low heat.
Assembly

Layer the Nachos
On a large baking sheet, spread the tortilla chips evenly. Layer the chopped brats over the chips. Drizzle the warm bier cheese sauce generously over the brats and chips. Sprinkle Cheddar-Jack and mozzarella cheese on top.
- 4
Add Toppings
Top the nachos with sliced banana peppers and pico de gallo.
