Prepare the Glass
Start by preparing your glass. If desired, run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it into salt to create a salted rim.

Mix Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of silver tequila, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz of agave syrup, and 0.5 oz of triple sec.

Add Ice
Fill the shaker with ice and seal it tightly.

Shake the Cocktail
Shake the cocktail vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to ensure that all ingredients are well mixed and chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. If you prefer it straight up, strain into a chilled glass without ice.

Garnish
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
