Instructions
- 1
Cut the Fabric
Measure and cut a piece of cotton fabric to 36 inches by 18 inches for the main body of the tote.
- 2
Prepare the Handles
Cut two strips of fabric, each 24 inches long and 4 inches wide for the handles.
- 3
Sew the Body
Fold the fabric in half, right sides together, and sew along the side edges with a 1/2 inch seam allowance. Turn it right side out.
- 4
Attach the Handles
Pin the handles inside the top edge of the tote, ensuring they are evenly spaced. Sew them in place securely.
- 5
Finish the Top Edge
Fold the top edge down about 1 inch and sew around the perimeter to create a finished edge.
- 6
Final Touches
Check all seams for security and trim any excess threads. Your eco-friendly veggie tote is ready to use!
