Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add activated yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and cover. Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Filling Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare Caramel Filling

In a small saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together. Stir in vanilla extract and set aside.

  2. 5

    Prepare Cinnamon Filling

In a small bowl, mix sugar and ground cinnamon.

  3. 6

    Prepare Apple Cinnamon Filling

In a bowl, combine diced apples, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon.

  4. 7

    Prepare Berry Filling

If using frozen berries, thaw and drain excess liquid. Set aside.

  5. 8

    Prepare Blueberry Cream Cheese Filling

In a bowl, mix cream cheese with blueberries until well combined.

  6. 9

    Prepare Maple Bacon Filling

In a bowl, combine cooked crumbled bacon with maple syrup.

  7. 10

    Prepare Nutella Filling

Use Nutella as is, no additional preparation needed.

  8. 11

    Prepare Rhubarb Filling

In a bowl, combine chopped rhubarb with sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Assembly and Baking

  1. 12

    Roll Out Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle on a floured surface.

  2. 13

    Add Fillings

Spread the desired filling over the dough, leaving a small border. Roll the dough tightly into a log.

  3. 14

    Cut and Arrange

Cut the log into equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.

  4. 15

    Second Rise

Cover the rolls and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

  5. 16

    Bake

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

  6. 17

    Cool and Serve

Let the rolls cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your fresh rolls!
