Method

Pickling Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brine

In a saucepan, combine water, white vinegar, salt, garlic cloves, black peppercorns, and red pepper flakes. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until the salt has dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Cucumbers

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly and cut them into spears or slices, based on your preference. Pack the cucumbers tightly into clean, sterilized jars.

  3. 3

    Add Dill

Place fresh dill sprigs on top of the packed cucumbers in each jar.

  4. 4

    Pour the Brine

Once the brine has cooled to room temperature, pour it over the cucumbers and dill in the jars, ensuring that they are fully submerged. Leave about half an inch of space at the top of each jar.

  5. 5

    Seal and Refrigerate

Seal the jars tightly with lids and refrigerate. Let the pickles sit for at least 24 hours before enjoying, allowing the flavors to meld together.

  6. 6

    Enjoy!

Serve the garlic-dill pickles cold as a refreshing snack or side dish.
