Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

Divide the batter evenly into three bowls. Leave one bowl plain for vanilla, mix cocoa powder into the second bowl for chocolate, and mix strawberry puree into the third bowl for strawberry flavor. Add brewed coffee to one portion for a coffee flavor, if desired.

Pour each batter into its prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
