Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground or diced beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.

  2. 2

    Add Sweet Beans

Stir in the sweet beans and cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Spinach

In a separate pan, add a little oil and sauté the fresh spinach until wilted. Set aside.

Make the Cream Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Roux

In the same skillet used for the beef, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to create a roux and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.

  2. 5

    Add Milk

Gradually whisk in the milk until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.

  3. 6

    Season the Sauce

Season with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Mix well.

Combine and Serve

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

Add the beef and sweet beans mixture to the cream sauce, stirring until well combined. Fold in the sautéed spinach.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
