Prepare the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place it in a slow cooker.

Cook the Pork
Add a cup of barbecue sauce to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

Make the Coleslaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar. Mix well and season with salt to taste.

Shred the Pork
Once the pork is cooked, shred it using two forks. Mix in additional barbecue sauce if desired.

Assemble the Sandwich
Toast the brioche buns, then pile the pulled pork onto the bottom half. Top with coleslaw and place the other half of the bun on top.

Serve
Serve the pulled pork sandwiches warm with additional barbecue sauce on the side if desired.
