Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted unsalted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Form the Crust

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, making sure it is evenly distributed. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and allow to cool.

Cheesecake Filling Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Cheesecake Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add granulated sugar and mix until well combined.

  2. 4

    Add Remaining Ingredients

Add sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs (one at a time), mixing well after each addition. Finally, mix in the all-purpose flour until smooth.

  3. 5

    Combine with Crust

Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust, spreading it evenly. Tap the pan gently on the counter to remove air bubbles.

  4. 6

    Bake the Cheesecake

Bake in the preheated oven at 325°F (160°C) for 55-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.

  5. 7

    Cool the Cheesecake

Turn off the oven and crack the door open. Let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve the Cheesecake

Remove the cheesecake from the springform pan. If desired, top with fresh fruit and drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.
