Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Caramelize the Onions

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and a pinch of salt, cooking until they are golden brown, stirring occasionally, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

In the same skillet, add the thinly shaved beef. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sliders

On the bottom half of each slider bun, layer the cooked beef, a slice of Monterey Jack cheese, diced green chiles, and a generous amount of caramelized onions. Top with the other half of the bun.

  4. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the buns are lightly toasted.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the sliders warm with seasoned fries or kettle chips on the side.
