    Gather Ingredients

    Collect all the ingredients including Makers Mark bourbon, spiced pear liqueur, chicory pecan bitters, and an orange peel.

    Prepare Mixing Glass

    Fill a mixing glass with ice to chill it before mixing the cocktail.

Mixing

    Combine Ingredients

    Pour 2 oz of Makers Mark bourbon and 1 oz of spiced pear liqueur into the chilled mixing glass.

    Add Bitters

    Add 2 dashes of chicory pecan bitters to the mixing glass with the other ingredients.

    Stir

    Stir the mixture gently using a bar spoon for about 30 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.

Serving

    Strain and Serve

    Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.

    Garnish

    Express the oils from a piece of orange peel over the drink and place it on the rim as a garnish.
