Preparation
- 1
Clean the Mushrooms
Gently wipe the cremini mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Avoid washing them under water to prevent them from absorbing too much moisture.
- 2
Slice the Garlic
Peel and thinly slice the garlic cloves.
Cooking
- 3
Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the sliced garlic and Aleppo pepper. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and lightly golden.

- 5
Add Sherry Vinegar
Pour the sherry vinegar over the sautéed mushrooms. Stir well and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the vinegar to reduce slightly.
- 6
Season and Serve
Season the mushroom ajillo with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat and serve warm as a tapa or side dish.
