Method

Preparing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a kettle, bring 4 cups of fresh cold water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Add Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add 4 teaspoons of tea leaves or 4 tea bags. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

  3. 3

    Strain the Tea

If using loose tea leaves, strain the tea into cups using a fine mesh strainer. If using tea bags, simply remove the bags.

Adding Flavorings

  1. 4

    Sweeten (optional)

If desired, stir in 2 tablespoons of honey to sweeten the tea.

  2. 5

    Add Lemon (optional)

For a refreshing twist, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.

  3. 6

    Creamy Touch (optional)

For a creamier texture, add 1 tablespoon of milk or cream.

  4. 7

    Spice it Up (optional)

For added warmth, sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
