Method

Preparation of Cheeses

  1. 1

    Slice the Cheeses

Cut the Manchego and Mahón cheeses into thin slices or wedges. Arrange them nicely on a wooden board.

Preparation of Charcuterie

  1. 2

    Slice the Meats

Thinly slice the Jamon Serrano and Chorizo. Place the slices on the cheese board around the cheeses.

Pickling Vegetables

  1. 3

    Prepare the Pickled Vegetables

In a saucepan, combine the white vinegar, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium heat until the sugar and salt dissolve. Remove from heat.

  2. 4

    Cut and Add Vegetables

Slice the carrots and cucumbers into thin strips and quarter the radishes. Place all the vegetables in a jar and pour the pickling liquid over them. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Assembling the Chef's Board

  1. 5

    Arrange the Board

Once the pickled vegetables are ready, remove them from the refrigerator. Arrange the cheeses, meats, and pickled vegetables on the board. Add the jar of mixed fruit preserves in the center for dipping.
