Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lychee

If using fresh lychee, peel and pit the fruit. If using canned lychee, drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Chill the Glass

Place a cocktail glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while preparing the cocktail.

Mixing the Cocktail

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the vodka, rose water, prepared lychee (mashed slightly), fresh lemon juice, and Peychaud's bitters.

  2. 4

    Shake Well

Add ice to the shaker and shake well for about 15-20 seconds, until the mixture is well chilled.

Serving the Cocktail

  1. 5

    Strain into Glass

Remove the cocktail glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. Strain the cocktail mixture into the chilled glass.

  2. 6

    Garnish

Garnish with edible rose petals and mint leaves for an aromatic finish.
