Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Berries

Wash the strawberries and blueberries under cold water. Remove the stems from the strawberries and cut them into quarters.

  2. 2

    Muddle the Ingredients

In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves and quartered strawberries. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press the mint and strawberries together to release their flavors.

  3. 3

    Add Blueberries

Add the fresh blueberries to the muddled mixture and gently muddle them to release some juices without crushing them completely.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 4

    Add Liquids

Squeeze the juice of the lime into the mixture, then add the white rum and simple syrup. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.

  2. 5

    Add Ice

Fill the glass or shaker with ice cubes to chill the mixture.

  3. 6

    Top with Club Soda

Pour the club soda over the ice and gently stir once more to combine everything.

Garnishing

  1. 7

    Garnish the Drink

Top the drink with additional mint sprigs and lime wedges for garnish. Serve immediately.
