Method

Hummus Preparation

1

Blend Ingredients

In a food processor, combine the canned chickpeas, tahini, fresh lemon juice, garlic clove, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and water.

2

Puree Hummus

Blend the mixture until smooth. If it's too thick, add more water, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.

3

Taste and Adjust

Taste the hummus and adjust the seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or lemon juice to your liking.

4

Serve

Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle paprika on top.

Vegetable Preparation

5

Wash and Cut Vegetables

Wash the cucumber, carrot, bell pepper, and cherry tomatoes thoroughly. Slice the cucumber and carrot into sticks, chop the bell pepper into bite-sized pieces, and leave the cherry tomatoes whole.

Pita Preparation

6

Warm Pita

If desired, warm the pita bread in a toaster or on a skillet over medium heat for a few minutes until soft and slightly crispy.

7

Cut Pita

Cut the pita bread into triangles for easier dipping.
