Preparation of Salad Base

Prepare the Romaine
Wash the Romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Shake off excess water and chop it into bite-sized pieces. Place the chopped Romaine in a large salad bowl.

Add Grape Tomatoes
Rinse the grape tomatoes and slice them in half. Add the halved tomatoes to the bowl with the Romaine.

Add Parmesan Cheese
Grate or shave the Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle it over the Romaine and tomatoes in the bowl.

Add Tortilla Chips
Crush the tortilla chips slightly to create smaller pieces. Add them to the salad bowl just before serving for maximum crunch.

In a small bowl, combine the lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic (press or finely chop), Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well combined and emulsified.
