Tea Ingredients

Method

Brewing the Tea

1

Boil the Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

2

Steep the Tea

Once the water reaches a boil, remove the saucepan from the heat and add 4 tea bags. Allow the tea bags to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

3

Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the saucepan. Discard the tea bags.

4

Add Optional Ingredients

If desired, add lemon slices and mint leaves to the brewed tea for added flavor.

5

Cool the Tea

Let the tea cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until chilled.

6

Serve

Pour the chilled unsweet tea into glasses over ice and enjoy it plain or with the optional lemon and mint for extra freshness.
