Gather All Ingredients

Collect all the ingredients listed in the base and flavoring sections.

Prepare Flavoring (if using)

If you choose to flavor the water, prepare the lemon juice by juicing fresh lemons. Measure out 1 cup of lemon juice.

Dissolve Sugar

In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of warm water until fully dissolved. Set aside.
