Coffee & Ice

Garnish & Optional

Method

Prepare Glass & Ice

1

Chill glass

Place a rocks glass or double old-fashioned glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you assemble ingredients to chill.

2

When ready, fill the chilled glass with fresh ice cubes (about 6 standard cubes) and discard any ice water used to chill the glass.

Build the Carajillo

3

Measure and pour 1.5 oz Licor 43 into a mixing glass or directly into the chilled, ice-filled serving glass.

4

Add 0.5 oz Frangelico and 0.25 oz black walnut liqueur to the Licor 43 in the glass.

5

Pour 6 oz cold brew coffee over the liqueurs and ice. Stir gently with a bar spoon for 10–15 seconds to combine and slightly chill the liqueurs without over-diluting.

Garnish & Serve

6

Express the orange twist over the drink to release oils, rub it on the rim if desired, then drop it into the glass.

7

Float or drop three coffee beans on top as a garnish. Serve immediately with a short stirring straw or bar spoon.
