Preparing Pickled Jalapeño

Slice the Jalapeños
While the brine is heating, slice the jalapeño peppers into thin rings.

Making Miso Aioli

Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, miso paste, minced garlic clove, and lemon juice until smooth.

Season
Taste the aioli and add salt as needed. Set aside or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Frying Brussels Sprouts

Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Trim the stems of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.

Season the Brussels Sprouts
In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Fry the Brussels Sprouts
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the seasoned Brussels sprouts cut-side down. Fry for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes until tender.

Drain and Serve
Remove the Brussels sprouts from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with miso aioli and pickled jalapeños.
