Prepare the Raspberries
In a blender, combine fresh raspberries and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.

Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the raspberry mixture into a glass to remove the seeds. Press with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible.

In a large glass, add the strained raspberry mixture, simple syrup, and ice cubes. Stir well to combine.

Slowly pour in the sparkling water or soda, stirring gently to mix.
