Ingredients: 500 ml Water; 100 g Pilsner Malt; 20 g Saaz Hops; 10 g Yeast (Lager); 5 g Priming Sugar (for carbonation)

Sliced turkey, lettuce, tomato, and mustard in a whole wheat wrap.

Fit Turkey Wrap

In a large pot, heat the water to about 65°C (149°F). Add the Pilsner malt and stir well. Maintain this temperature for 60 minutes to allow the sugars to extract.

Mashing

After mashing, separate the liquid (wort) from the grain. Rinse the grains with hot water to extract as much sugar as possible. Collect the wort in another pot.

Lautering

Bring the wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the Saaz hops and boil for 60 minutes. This will add bitterness and aroma to your beer.

Boiling

After boiling, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or an ice bath until it reaches about 20°C (68°F).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a fermentation vessel and add the yeast. Seal the vessel with an airlock and let it ferment for about 2 weeks at a temperature of around 10-12°C (50-54°F).

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of boiling water and add it to your beer. Bottle the beer and cap it. Let it carbonate for an additional 1-2 weeks.

Bottling

Chill the bottles, pour into a glass, and enjoy your homemade non-alcoholic Belgian pilsner!
