Pork Chop Parmigiana

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the pork chops

Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Breading the pork chops

Set up a breading station: Place flour in one plate, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third plate. Dredge each pork chop in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Frying the pork chops

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the breaded pork chops and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Assembling the dish

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, spread half of the bolognese sauce, place the fried pork chops on top, and cover with the remaining bolognese sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top.

  5. 5

    Baking

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. 6

    Garnishing

Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
