Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Clams

Rinse the clams under cold water, scrubbing the shells to remove any grit or sand. Soak them in cold water for 20 minutes to help them purge any remaining sand.

  2. 2

    Make the Breadcrumb Mixture

In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  4. 4

    Arrange Clams

Place the rinsed clams on a baking sheet, open side up. Spoon the breadcrumb mixture generously over each clam.

  5. 5

    Add Wine

Pour the dry white wine into the bottom of the baking sheet, ensuring that it does not wash off the breadcrumb topping.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the clams open and the breadcrumb topping is golden brown.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, drizzled with a little extra olive oil if desired.
