Cheesesteak Stromboli Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until browned. Add the sliced long hot peppers and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until softened.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Stromboli

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle. Spread the marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a border around the edges. Layer the cooked ribeye and pepper mixture evenly over the sauce, then sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.

  3. 3

    Roll and Bake

Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough over the filling to form a log. Pinch the seams to seal. Place the stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Optionally, brush the top with olive oil for a golden crust. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Serve

Allow the stromboli to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with additional marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
