Prepare the Glass
Rim a rocks glass with salt by rubbing a lime wedge around the edge and then dipping it into a plate of salt. Set aside.

Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila blanco, lime juice, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice.

Shake
Shake well until the mixture is chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass filled with fresh ice.

Garnish
Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately.
