Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter and bittersweet chocolate together, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Combine Sugar and Eggs
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and egg yolks until well combined and slightly frothy.

Mix Ingredients
Add the melted chocolate mixture, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the egg mixture. Stir until fully integrated.

Add Flour
Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Baking

Fill Ramekins
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

Bake the Cakes
Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.

Cool Slightly
Remove from the oven and let the cakes cool in the ramekins for about 1 minute.

Unmold and Serve
Carefully run a knife around the edges of each cake and invert onto a plate. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
