Method
Preparing the Chicken
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add the chicken breasts and coat them well with the marinade. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
- 3
Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- 4
Glaze with BBQ Sauce
During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the BBQ sauce onto the chicken breasts. Allow the sauce to caramelize slightly for extra flavor.
Preparing the Fries
- 5
Cut the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.
- 6
Season the Fries
In a large bowl, combine the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, and paprika. Toss until all fries are evenly coated.
- 7
Bake the Fries
Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
