Method

Base Sangria Mix

  1. 1

    Mix the liqueur and juices

In a large pitcher or mixing bowl, combine the Gran Gala, Fabrizia Limoncello, fresh orange juice, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup. Stir well until fully blended.

Wine & Fruit

  1. 2

    Add wine and fruits

Pour the bottle of red (for Rosso) or white wine (for Bianco) into the pitcher. Add the sliced orange, sliced lemon, and chopped seasonal fruits. Stir gently to combine.

  2. 3

    Add herbs

Add the fresh herbs such as mint or basil to the pitcher. Lightly bruise the herbs with a spoon to release their aroma before adding.

  3. 4

    Chill

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.

Finishing Touch

  1. 5

    Finish and serve

Just before serving, add the sparkling water or club soda to the pitcher and gently stir. Add ice cubes to glasses and pour the sangria over the ice. Garnish with additional fruit slices or herb sprigs if desired.
