Method
Pizza Dough
- 1
Prepare the yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let sit for 5–10 minutes until the mixture is frothy.
- 2
Make the dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- 3
Knead the dough
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4
Let dough rise
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a cloth or plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 5
Preheat oven
Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C) or as high as possible. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
- 6
Shape the dough
Punch down the dough and roll it out into a 10–12 inch circle on a floured surface. Transfer to a pizza peel or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Assembling and Baking the Pizza

Evenly distribute the sliced strawberries over the Nutella layer.
