Cocktail Preparation

Prepare Glass
Chill a double old fashioned glass by adding ice and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Laws BGH Selection Rye, 0.25 oz of Demerara syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. Add ice and stir for 20–30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.

Prepare Garnish
Use a lighter or match to briefly flame a fresh rosemary sprig until aromatic. Set aside.

Garnish and Finish
Express the oils from one orange peel over the glass and rub it around the rim, then drop it in. Garnish with the flamed rosemary sprig and one Luxardo cherry dropped into the drink or skewered and placed on top.
