Method
Prepare Salad Base

Wash and dry the romaine lettuce thoroughly. Chop into bite-sized pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.

Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them to the bowl with the romaine.

Sprinkle lemon zest and freshly ground black pepper over the lettuce and tomatoes.
Make Caesar Dressing

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

Whisk together until the dressing is smooth and well emulsified. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Prepare Breadcrumb Topping

Add breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and salt.

Toast, stirring frequently, until breadcrumbs are golden brown and crisp, about 3–5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
Assemble Salad

Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the romaine and tomato mixture. Toss well to coat all ingredients evenly.

Top with the toasted breadcrumbs and an extra sprinkle of black pepper if desired.
