Prepare the Ingredients
Wash the strawberries and hull them. Brew Lapsang Souchong tea and allow it to cool.

Muddle the Strawberries
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh strawberries to release their juices.

Mix the Cocktail
Add gin, blanc vermouth, lemon juice, brewed Lapsang tea, and rhubarb syrup to the shaker with muddled strawberries.

Shake
Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.

Finish with Basil Oil
Drizzle basil oil on top of the cocktail before serving for a fragrant finish.
