Pimento Cheese Preparation

    Mixing the Ingredients

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, pimentos, and mayonnaise.

    Add garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the cheese mixture.

    Blending

    Using a fork or a hand mixer, blend the ingredients until smooth and well-combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

    Chill

    Cover the bowl and refrigerate the pimento cheese for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

    In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

    Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
